The Baltic Sea spa of Kellenhusen is located on the west coast of the Bay of Lübeck below the island of Fehmarn. Recognized as a spa since 1964, the town captivates with its unique mix of forest, waves and wide open spaces. The 586-hectare forest borders directly on the 2 km sandy beach.
The 305 m pier is Kellenhusen's landmark, divided into three themed islands. Every evening, the 'Light Bridge' glows in changing colors – a magical sight. The adventure promenade winds imaginatively along the beach, with water channels, Ice Age boulders, a maze and the giant fish statues 'Tümmler' and 'Orka'.
